- Anthony will do minutes and website, new members send bios and headshot to him
- Amber compiling list this year of reference experts, send 3 in at least to Amber, will post in AMS community, also expert list, Paul will send out list, changes for website will go to Kelly
- Check out our social media pages, Facebook and Twitter. Log on and tag it anytime with your stories or accomplishments
- SSC is FULL! We have volunteer founding members and also now a student member.
- Mike is happy to supply more books if you need them, feel free to reach out.
- Bob – ScienceMoms.Com, great source! Ways to educate generations. Bob wants to start one for grandparents.
- Weatherband ALWAYS looking for content, webinars, blogs, promote the SSC. CBM Rex Horner call for topics, news you can use ideas (send to Kelly!)
- Doing a SSC podcast or panel from the committee, for through AMS, we need to apply topics through GoToWebinar and then get approved. Get lots of interest through them. Have a committee member be a moderator, hour-long session, topics each quarter (3-4 year) -- https://www.ametsoc.org/index.cfm/ams/propose-a-webinar/ -- First one, McCall, Paul to spearhead (panelists -- Mike, Bob??)
- Webinar for CBM Points – Professional development points both for watching AND putting it on. There are also virtual short course program that will be going into effect. We can do a short-course as well as a committee.
- Bob – Citizen’s Climate Lobby non-profit & non partisan group, more than 200,000 members. Bob Co-leads team for broadcasters, Elisa has been involved as well as Mike in the past. Watch for an email from Bob with more details. Mike will speak at a future meeting.
- ANNOUNCEMENTS: MG Satellites Conference, McCall will be working Habitat for Humanity event to present on Tornado outbreak
