Through determination and commitment to forming deep, lasting relationships, Tara championed METplus’s operational adoption of METplus at NOAA/EMC, the US Air Force, and the UK MetOffice, and its use by many other individuals and organizations, leaving a lasting legacy of innovation and collaboration.
Beyond Tara’s professional achievements, she was a mentor and advocate who inspired countless colleagues with both expertise and empathy. Her kindness, encouragement, and ever-present smile made a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of working alongside her. She cherished her role on the AMS Probability and Statistics committee and relished in winning the STAC Outstanding Service Award, a reflection of her dedication to advancing the field of verification.
