The AMS Professional Guidance Statement, "Software Preservation, Stewardship, and Reuse" was adopted by the by the AMS Council on 16 July 2021. This statement complements the AMS policy statement "Full, Open, and Timely Access to Data", which was adopted by AMS council on 15 April 2019. Both statements have been used to inform the "Data Policy and Guidelines for AMS Publications".
