The Severe Local Storms Conference is the premiere conference focused on the research, dissemination, and advancement of knowledge of severe storms and their hazards. We look forward to welcoming our community back together in person again in October of 2022!

Registration

All attendees should have registered to attend the conference. Registration was completed online. Everyone presenting (both oral and poster) and/or attending must register. 

Please note AMS Membership renewal will begin on October 1st. For those that are not a current member and are looking to register between September 14th and October 1st, please register at the non-member rate and contact Meetings ([email protected]) with your renewal confirmation to be refunded the cost difference.

Payment may be made with check, purchase order (hard copy required) or credit card (MasterCard/VISA/American Express). There will be no registration refunds after 10/07/22. Cancellations made before this date will be charged a $25.00 processing fee.

Special Needs

It is the Society's sincere desire to comply fully with both the letter and the spirit of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990.  Attendees with special needs at the conference should check with the AMS Meetings Department (617) 226-3916, four–six weeks prior to the meeting to request special arrangements. Special housing needs should be requested when making hotel reservations.
