The 32nd American Meteorological Society (AMS) Conference on Weather Analysis and Forecasting (WAF) and the 28th AMS Conference on Numerical Weather Prediction (NWP) is sponsored by the American Meteorological Society and organized by the AMS Committee on Weather Analysis and Forecasting. The WAF/NWP Conference will be held jointly with the 20th Conference on Mesoscale Processes 17-21 July 2023 at the Monona Terrace Community and Convention Center in Madison, Wisconsin. Prospective participants are encouraged to review the call for papers for each conference to determine the best fit for their work. The conference committee chairs plan to build joint sessions and keynote talks into the program to highlight research and work that spans the breadth of all conferences.
The 32nd Conference on Weather Analysis and Forecasting (WAF) and the 28th Conference on Numerical Weather Prediction (NWP) solicit papers and posters from the research and operational weather forecasting community on the following topics:
Authors are welcome to submit papers on the full range of topics solicited above, in addition to other cross-cutting applications that blend WAF/NWP topics with other areas of research or applied science.
