Turin (Italian: Torino) is a vibrant city in the northwest of Italy, known for its rich history, cultural heritage, and elegant architecture. It is the capital of the Piedmont region and is situated along the Po River, surrounded by the beautiful Alps.
Torino was defined by Le Corbusier as ‘the city with the most beautiful natural setting’.
Torino is easy to reach by car, train or plane thanks to its strategic location that makes it a natural connection point between the surrounding Alpine valleys and the confluence and passage of major national and international communication routes.
All conference sessions for the conference will be held at the Centro Congressi Lingotto at Via Nizza, 280, 10126 Torino TO, Italy.
The Lingotto Conference Centre is conveniently located just 30 minutes from Sandro Pertini International Airport and 10 minutes from the Turin city centre
A block of hotel rooms has been reserved for conference attendees at a special rate at the NH Torino Lingotto Congress Hotel and at The Doubletree By Hilton Turin Lingotto. For more information and to make your reservation please visit here.
June represents the onset of peak summer in Turin, establishing it as the warmest month in terms of temperatures. The longer stretch of daylight underlies the essence of the Italian summer, promoting outdoor activities. Compared to May, the rise in temperatures is evident but well-balanced by modest humidity levels. Despite the enhanced warmth, June’s weather is considerably comfortable. A significant rise is witnessed in the temperature spectrum ranging from 14°C (57.2°F) to 24.8°C (76.6°F).
