Microsoft Scholarship Program

Applications due by: 9 February 2018

Microsoft awards tuition scholarships and conference scholarships each year to encourage students to pursue studies in Computer Science and related STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) disciplines. Recipients for both scholarships will be awarded in recognition of their demonstrated passion for technology, academic excellence, and leadership while working to push the software industry forward. Ernest F. Hollings Undergraduate Scholarship

Applications due by: January 31, 2018

The Hollings Scholarship Program provides successful undergraduate applicants with awards that include academic assistance (up to $9,500 per year) for two years of full-time study and a 10-week, full-time paid ($700/week) internship at a NOAA facility during the summer.

Educational Partnership Program Undergraduate Scholarship

Applications due by: January 31, 2018

The EPP/MSI Undergraduate Scholarship provides funds for two years of undergraduate study to rising junior undergraduate students majoring in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) fields that directly support NOAA's mission. Participants conduct research at a NOAA facility during two paid summer internships. Since 2001, over 186 students have completed the program and over 75% go on to graduate school.

Students attending Minority Serving Institutions as defined by the US Department of Education (Hispanic Serving Institutions, Historically Black Colleges and Universities, Tribal Colleges and Universities, Alaskan-Native Serving Institutions, and Native Hawaiian Serving Institutions) are eligible to apply for the program.

Students with Ambition Go to College College Mentors Needed

As a mentor, you will be paired with a high school student whom you will check-in with weekly through text, phone or email. During these check-ins, using our grade-level timelines, you can guide your mentee step-by-step through the college process. Your support will ensure your mentee reaches their college dreams!
