All attendees must register to attend the conference. Registration may be completed online, via fax-in form, or onsite. Links will be available in the left-hand panel of this page. Registration rates will be announced and opened in Late February 2014.
The AMS Committee on Applied Climatology will support awards for the top
three student posters and the top three student presentation. The prizes
in both categories will be $200 for first place, $100 for second place, and
$50 for third place. To be considered for the prize, an entrant should
either be enrolled as a full-time student or be a student who has just
completed a degree but has not yet begun employment at the time the paper
is given or submitted for publication. Members of the AMS Committee on
Applied Climatology will evaluate each poster and presentation that is
submitted by a student author, with scores based on content and
presentation. The awards will be announced at the end of the meeting by
the committee co-chairs.
It is the Society's sincere desire to comply fully with both the letter and the spirit of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990. Attendees with special needs at the conference should check with the AMS Meetings Department (617) 226-3971, four–six weeks prior to the meeting to request special arrangements. Special housing needs should be requested when making hotel reservations.
