Early-career scientists (e.g., graduate students and postdoctoral researchers) are eligible to apply for financial support to attend the AMS Climate Policy Colloquium. Full support will cover the costs of tuition, room and board, and travel. Partial support may also be available.
Applications for support to attend the 2025 Climate Policy Colloquium are due on September 28, 2025.
Those competing for support must submit (1) a letter of intent, (2) a curriculum vitae, and (3) requests for two letters of reference. Additional letters of support may be included but are not required.
To be eligible to receive funding, applicants must be currently enrolled in or employed by a U.S. institution or university and members of the American Meteorological Society. Student membership is sufficient for this requirement. Applicants for funding do not need to be a member at the time of application submission but must be a member at the time when funds are disbursed.
If you are applying for funding, you do not need to complete the online registration.
