FAQ

When and where is the Colloquium? Is it a hybrid event?
The 2024 Colloquium will consist of both virtual and in-person sessions; however these sessions will not take place simultaneously. In-person sessions will be held from Sunday, June 2 - Friday, June 7, 2024 at the AAAS building, 1200 New York Avenue, Washington D.C. 20005. Virtual sessions will be held in May (May 7 and May 21) and throughout the summer (dates to be determined) to introduce and supplement the in-person experience, respectively.

I can attend the in-person sessions but not the virtual ones, should I attend the Colloquium?
Attendance at virtual sessions, while not mandatory, is highly recommended as an opportunity to expand upon material covered in the in-person sessions and to network with peers and experts in the policy arena. Attendance at the in-person sessions is mandatory. If you cannot attend the in-person sessions, it is recommended that you wait to attend the Colloquium in a future year.
