DataStreme: Ocean Sciences

DataStreme: Ocean Sciences

Online Ocean Sciences Course

This course is an online, asynchronous course, designed to take about 3-hours/week for 12 weeks to complete. Each week covers a single topic and includes interactives, activities, and a brief quiz. The final project involves developing a new lesson for your students about what you have learned in the course. The AMS staff and mentors will provide personal feedback throughout the course. The course runs in Google Classroom, so a Google account will be required. We also use Slack to engage in discussion and maintain connections after the course has ended.

Upon completion, you will receive official AMS certificates. We are also happy to provide custom certificates and transcripts to those who need them for professional advancement. Please note that this program is not officially affiliated with any university, so official course credit is not available.
