To promote popular education and outreach to increase public awareness of weather, water, and climate, and the interaction between human society and the environment. To provide guidance and support to local and student AMS chapters in the areas of informal education, outreach, and community engagement. The Board is also responsible for overseeing outreach activities associated with the Annual Meeting, including WeatherFest.
