Women in Atmospheric Sciences Luncheon

The 2017 Women in Atmospheric Sciences Luncheon will feature M. J. McDermott. Ms. McDermott is currently a morning meteorologist on the FOX affiliate in Seattle, Washington (Q13 News). She holds a degree in atmospheric sciences from the University of Washington and is proud to be the first woman and first TV meteorologist to win the annual U.W. Atmospheric Sciences Forecasting Competition. She had also been nominated for several local Emmy Awards for her weather work. She is the author of three books, including the upcoming Forecasting your Brightest Future:  10 Tools from a Meteorologist to Help You Get What You Want out of Life.
