AMS Resources and Response to the Federal Science Crisis
The Jagadish Shukla Earth System Predictability Prize is presented to researchers who make outstanding contributions to the fundamental understanding of the predictability of the Earth as a system, and its application to prediction, at all time scales from hours to decades, for the benefit of society.
Not available for nominations this year. The David and Lucille Atlas Remote Sensing Prize is granted biennially to individuals in recognition of advances in the science and technology of remote sensing, and its application to knowledge of the earth, oceans, and atmosphere, and/or to the benefit of society.
