Minutes of the March 28, 2005 Meeting
Smoky Mountain AMS Chapter

Everyone met at the Tennessee Grill in Knoxville around 6:00 PM. After dinner, the meeting commenced in Room 166 at the Agricultural Engineering Building on the UT Ag campus around 8 PM. Valerie True of the Southern Alliance for Clean Energy was our guest speaker (in place of Dr. Stephen Smith whose plane was unexpectedly grounded in Arkansas). The Southern Alliance for Clean Energy (SACE) is a not-for-profit, nonpartisan organization working to promote responsible energy choices that solve global warming problems and ensure clean, safe, healthy communities throughout the Southeast. Through strong partnerships with civic, religious, justice, governmental and business entities, SACE serves as a catalyst for productive dialogue and innovative solutions. SACE, founded in 1985, serves citizens of the eight-state Southeast region: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee.
