Shali Mohleji, an AMS Member, is a Visiting Fellow in the American Meteorological Society's Policy Program in Washington, DC. She specializes in natural disaster policy and science policy. Dr Mohleji has a Bachelor's degree in environmental sciences, with a focus on atmospheric sciences, from the University of Virginia, a Master's degree in atmospheric sciences, with a focus on boundary layer meteorology, from Purdue University, and a PhD degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder's Center for Science and Technology Policy Research.
