Accommodations

Attendees were responsible for making their own hotel arrangements.  All meeting sessions for the conferences were held at the San Diego Marriott Mission Valley, at 8757 Rio San Diego Drive, San Diego, CA 92108.

We urged attendees to book a hotel room in an AMS room block as revenue from sleeping rooms helps offset other meeting costs and is passed down to attendees in keeping registration rates to a minimum.

A block of rooms had been reserved at the San Diego Marriott Mission Valley hotel for meeting attendees at a discounted rate of $249.00 single/double plus tax. Rates did not include applicable sales and/or occupancy tax, currently 12.5 %, and a $0.55 tourism fee.

We had also added an additional block of rooms at the SpringHill Suites San Diego Mission Valley at the special rate of $199.00 single/double plus tax. Rates did not include applicable sales and/or occupancy tax, currently 12.5 %, and a $0.55 tourism fee. The hotel is conveniently located 0.5 mi from the Marriott Mission Valley.

Getting There

Driving Directions to Marriott Mission Valley from San Diego International Airport:
Turn left onto N Harbor Dr. Turn left onto W Grape St. Take the Interstate 5 S ramp. Merge onto I-5 S. Take exit 16 to merge onto CA-163 N toward Escondido. Take exit 3A to merge onto I-8 E toward El Centro. Take exit 6A to merge onto Qualcomm Way. Turn right onto Rio San Diego Dr. Destination will be on the right.
