The 47th Conference on Broadcast Meteorology is organized by the Board on Broadcast Meteorology and hosted by the American Meteorological Society. The Fifth Conference on Weather Warnings and Communication is organized by the Board on Societal Impacts and the Committee on Severe Local Storms and hosted by the American Meteorological Society.
There are several sponsorship opportunities available at the 47th Conference on Broadcast Meteorology/Fifth Conference on Weather Warnings and Communication. All attendees must register to attend the conference. Registration may be completed online, via fax-in form, or onsite. Everyone presenting (both oral and poster) and/or attending must register and wear a badge. Be sure to register by 08 May, 2019 in order to receive the lower registration rate. Registrations received at AMS from 08 May and through the conference dates will be processed at the higher rate (see rates below). After 11 June please register at the meeting or online. Payment may be made with check, purchase order (hard copy required) or credit card (MasterCard/VISA/American Express). FAXED registration forms must be accompanied by payment (PO or credit card # only).
The full-week package includes admission to all sessions, exhibits, breakfasts, coffee breaks, ice breaker reception, and one ticket to Thursday's Lunch.
The one-day package includes for one calendar day admission to all sessions, exhibits, breakfast and coffee breaks for one day. The Thursday Lunch is NOT included.

A ticket is needed to attend the Tuesday Field trip and tour to the Institution of Oceanography, UC San Diego. The tour will be 60 minutes and transportation will be provided. $25 tickets will be available for purchase when registering.
Buses will board 5:15:-5:30 PM at the east entrance.
Thursday, June 13, 12:00–1:30pm
A ticket is needed to attend the Thursday Luncheon. One ticket to the 47th Conference on Broadcast Meteorology/Fifth Conference on Weather Warnings and Communication Luncheon is included in the full-week registration package. The Luncheon will take place in the Exhibit Hall (Rio Vista Salon D-F). Guest and/or additional tickets ($50 each) may be purchased onsite until noon Wednesday 12 June.
Thursday, 13 June from 7:00-10:00pm
A ticket is needed to attend the Thursday Outing which will take place at Café Coyote located in the Heart of Historic Old Town San Diego. Tickets are priced at $40 per person. Ticket includes food, 1 drink ticket, and transportation to and from the hotel to the event. Children's tickets are also available at $20 per person (Age 12 & under only).
Buses will depart the hotel at 6:30pm.
