Training will be provided on various air quality related products derived from NOAA and EUMETSAT satellite sensors. Focus will be on user applications of products such as fires, ozone precursor trace gases, and aerosols.  Information and hands-on activities will involve status of products, access, and applications.  Participants will download sample datasets corresponding to an air quality event in the New England and do a hindcast to learn about using satellite products in daily operational air quality forecasting.  Students will also be given opportunities to explore thesis projects using satellite products at MS and PhD level.
