The CBM test is a 100 question online, proctored exam that can be taken from anywhere that is convenient, as long as your computer and Internet connection meet minimum requirements and you follow the proctoring rules.
Computer requirements:
- Windows/Mac/Linux Computer
- Integrated or External Webcam with Microphone
- Google Chrome
- Google Chrome Screensharing Extension (https://goo.gl/u8tXey)
- Bandwidth Minimum 500Kbps download and 256Kbps upload
Once you are registered to take the exam you can run a compatibility check on your computer.
Room requirements:
- Room must be quiet, private and well lit. Public spaces such as coffee shops, stores, etc. are not allowed
- Desk must clear of all notes and electronics
- Examinee should reside in the center of the camera frame
- Only one monitor is allowed
- No bright lights or windows behind the examinee
You must follow the proctoring rules during your exam. Please review the below detailed rules before registering for the test. PSI will notify AMS if your exam is terminated due to failure to comply with the testing procedures and you may be permanently barred from re-taking the exam.
