Hydrology

The AMS Committee on Hydrology is charged with promoting events and activities that support the integration of expertise in the hydrological and meteorological sciences. This includes subsurface/surface hydrologic processes, land-atmosphere interaction, snow and ice processes, monitoring environmental variables by remote sensing, operational hydrology and the development of tools, techniques, and expertise in forecasting hydrometeorological extremes such as river flooding, flash floods, droughts and other weather-related hazards. For more details about the goals and mission of the Hydrology committee please see our Terms of Reference.
