AMS has partnered with Kudos, an online service designed to help authors communicate their research more effectively and increase their work's impact.
Kudos can help drive citations and downloads of your article as well as open up your research to new audiences. Using Kudos’s tools to explain and share your work takes an average of just 10 minutes and is correlated with a 23% increase in full-text article downloads, as shown in a recent study.

Through simple tools and guidance, Kudos helps you utilize social media, academic networks, and email to maximize your readership and citations. It provides a platform for you as an author to explain, share, and measure the impact of your publications.
AMS recommends that authors use ORCID to claim and manage their publications. Authors can connect their ORCID account to Kudos, and use Kudos as a tool to help increase the usage and impact of their work. Doing so will ensure that all papers (past and future) connected to an author's ORCID account are automatically updated in Kudos on a weekly basis. At this time, papers claimed only in Kudos will not automatically update in ORCID.
Don't have an ORCID?REGISTER ON ORCID
When your first paper in an AMS journal is published online, you will receive an email from AMS outlining how you can best use Kudos to increase the readership and impact of your research. You can also get started right away by registering for an account on Kudos and connecting your ORCID account.
Authors who have previously published in an AMS journal are welcome to start using Kudos right away. AMS recommends authors claim papers in ORCID first and then, to begin sharing your work, register for an account on Kudos and connect your ORCID account.
Authors already using Kudos will now benefit from the Kudos/AMS partnership. This includes being able to create a shareable AMS PDF of any AMS paper to post to online social and scholarly networks.
