Beyond that, Baron has developed complete weather detection and dissemination services, hydrological forecasting systems, and accurate air quality models. Funded by the U.S. Department of Energy Office of Science, the Atmospheric Radiation Measurement Climate Research Facility operates remote-sensing instruments on aircraft and at world-wide sites to obtain measurements of clouds, aerosols, precipitation, and radiative energy for studying global climate change. As a scientific user facility, ARM data are freely available and scientists can propose to conduct field campaigns that use the facilities.

Recently, Toshiba has developed a state-of-art solid-state power amplifier-based weather radar so-called "Solid-State Weather Radar" by fusing radar processing technologies with advanced world-class semiconductor technologies. The company's solid-state weather radars utilize highly accurate, high-sensitivity and high-resolution dual-polarisation weather radar technology. S/C/X bands are available. Also, Toshiba developed and installed first Phased Array Weather Radar which rapidly observe the meteorological phenomena last year. We will introduce these products at the conference.
