Manuscript Submission Item Type Definitions

When uploading submission files to Editorial Manager, authors are required to select the appropriate item type for each file on the Attach Files page. If the correct item type is not selected then the submission will be returned to the author for correction. Please use the item type definitions on this page to select the correct item type.

If you have already included the captioned figures for peer review as a Manuscript (non-LaTeX) file (i.e. embedded them within the Word file or uploaded a single PDF containing all of the captioned figures) please use the item type Non-Rendered Figure for the individual figure source files for production. The figures should not display twice in the built PDF.
