Spotlight: The Value of Becoming a Certified Consulting Meteorologist |
Every CCM knows that the American Meteorological Society stands behind the CCM program and that every CCM has outstanding knowledge of meteorology, professional standards, and personal integrity. CCM certification makes your knowledge, skills, and credibility better known within the community; your clients know they are receiving the highest quality service. Certification also opens up possibilities for professional recognition, networking, and career advancement.
If you are considering the CCM certification, submit an application! The written exam and grading process take a few months, followed by an oral exam. Find more information on the CCM Program on the AMS web pages, and if you have any questions, please feel free to email me at bccm.chair@gmail.com.
