The 2012 AMS Summer Community Meeting is organized by the AMS Board
on Enterprise Communication, a part of the AMS Commission on the Weather
and Climate Enterprise. It is sponsored by the University of Oklahoma, the
University Corporation for Atmospheric Research, Dr. Joe Friday., and Geonor,
Inc. The conference will be held at the National Weather Center in Norman
Oklahoma, 13-16 August, 2012.

Reservations must be made prior to 23 July, 2012 and be accompanied by a one-night deposit. Reservations made after that date are on a space-available basis. We urge you to make reservations early since space is very limited.

REGISTRATION
1) On-line Registration: This option is available to AMS Members and nonmembers who are paying by credit card or purchase order. You can register on-line through the conference. Be sure to register by 16 July, 2012 for the lowest rates.
2) On-site registration: The registration desk at the National Weather Center will be open for registration on Monday, 13 August from 11:00am-5:00pm, and Tuesday–Thursday during the hours of the conference.
We urge you to pre-register for the meeting. It will significantly speed up your check-in process on-site.

GETTING THERE

Directions from North or South I-35:
Take I-35 to Norman. Take exit 108A to merge onto HWY OK-9 East (sign will read: Univ. of OK/Tecumseh). Head east for 3.6 miles. Turn left (N) on Jenkins Ave. Take your first right onto David L. Boren Blvd and then your second right will be our parking lot.
Directions from Will Rogers Airport:
Head southeast on Terminal Dr. toward Air Cargo Rd. Slight right at Air Cargo Rd. Turn right at SW 54th St. Turn right onto the I-44 S ramp. Merge onto I-44 W. Slight right at I-240 E (signs for US-62E/Dallas). Take exit 4A to merge onto I-35 S toward Dallas. Take exit 108A to merge onto HWY OK-9 East (sign will read: Univ. of OK/Tecumseh). Head east for 3.6 miles. Turn left (N) on Jenkins Ave. Take your first right onto David L. Boren Blvd and then your second right will be our parking lot.
Parking Directions:
Park in the first two rows in visitor parking. Enter inside the doors behind the fountain and check in at the security desk.
