2009 Reno-Lake Tahoe AMS Student Chapter Weather Calendar
Once again, the Reno-Lake Tahoe AMS Student Chapter will be creating a calendar which illustrates the weather and climate of the Reno area through the use of facts and photographs. The profits from these calendars provides the Reno-Lake Tahoe chapter with funds which will be used for field trips, undergraduate scholarships, and any other purpose which will benefit the chapter membership. You can contribute to this year's calendar project by submitting your photographs of interesting and scenic weather from the greater Reno area. Examples of photographs used for last year's calendar are shown below.
To submit your photographs for possible inclusion in the 2009 calendar, you may either e-mail the picture as an attachment (most common file types are acceptable) to J.D. McAlpine or Brian Billings or contact either of the above individuals to discuss the transfer of non-electronic photos. Photographs will be accepted until preliminary preparation of the calendar begins sometime this fall. The Reno-Lake Tahoe AMS Student Chapter cannot offer money in exchange for the use of these photos, but free copies of this year's calendar may be awarded to the best pictures submitted.
