Spring 2005 Newsletter

The PAMS officers would like to thank each of those who attended the presentation by Dr. Mock last evening and the delicious dinner served up by Carolina Wings. For those who were unable to attend, I will post meeting minutes on the new website in the next several days. Allen Weber was honored for his service and dedication to the PAMS group after his recent retirement from the Savannah River National Laboratory and we planned two tentative meetings for this summer and early fall including a trip to the SRNL/TV tower and arrangements for at least one person from the NOAA Coastal Services Center to come in mid- to late- July. We had 6 additional members sign up for membership for the 2005-2006 year and we are glad you all have joined to bring our total membership to 26. For those who still wish to join and have not paid dues, you may contact me to make arrangements. Annual dues are $10.00.

SHIRTS: We still have 4 golf shirts remaining including 1 XXL and 3 XL- these are the only sizes left and we are selling them at $5 apiece. Anyone who is interested can also make arrangements to get one of these from me. (and where else are you gonna get a nice shirt for $5.00 guys, just paid for one myself, and don't say Wally World).

Well that is a brief synopsis of last night. We hope to see everyone at the next meeting in July. I will send along details at that time. Thanks again to everyone for your continued support and have a great weekend!
