The Packerland Chapter of the American Meteorological Society was formed in 1994, as the Northeast Wisconsin Chapter of the AMS. After a period of inactivity, the chapter was reactivated in the spring of 1999.The name of the chapter was changed to better reflect the meteorological community that is served by the National Weather Service Green Bay office, the weather broadcasters, and weather educators of northeast, central, and north-central Wisconsin.Here is our Chapter constitution (.doc format). Anyone with a strong interest in meteorology is invited to join the chapter.
