WHAT: Summertime Lightning Forecasting in Oregon and Washington. If you have an interest in thunderstorm forecasting and wildfire activity, you won’t want to miss this informative and interactive presentation hosted by the Oregon AMS! John will explain the statistical-dynamical methods used to forecast the magnitude of summertime lightning outbreaks over Oregon and Washington.

WHEN: Tuesday, February 28th 2012 from 7-9 PM. Attendees please plan to arrive at approximately 6:45pm. This is a secure building. Please come to the front door and wait for station personnel to let you in.

AGENDA: Mr. Saltenberger will give an updated presentation on summertime lightning forecasting in the Pacific Northwest. Attendees will also leave this meeting with educational handouts that Mr. Saltenberger will provide.
