Dear Oregon AMS Members,
As we move into another Oregon and SW Washington summer, my time as the President of The Oregon AMS Chapter has come to an end. I am very grateful to have served such an amazing group of people. I have formed friendships and professional relationships with many of you, and I look forward to continuing those as your new Vice President. Over the last 3 years I've seen this chapter grow and expand, break through boundaries, and continue to serve as the go-to group for weather discussion and outreach.
I'd like to address the people who have served on the Executive Council with me. Without you, this chapter wouldn't be where it is today. You've been the backbone of the success in everything that we've done and will do in the future. I will express to each and everyone of you in person at a later time, but please know that I value your work and dedication to this chapter. Thank you !
As the sun rises on another year, the new leadership group will come together and we will begin to plan the next year and beyond. We have a strong group in place and I'm excited to see where we will go. As always, we want our members to help us decide what topics you'd like to talk about, and if you have any ideas, comments, or suggestions, please let us know. We are here for you.
It has been an honor to serve you !
Sincerely,
Bobby Corser
Oregon AMS President
