The North Florida Chapter of the AMS is actively involved in numerous programs throughout the Tallahassee region, all designed to positively impact the community through outreach efforts, both educational and non-educational in nature. Examples of such programs include the Tallahassee/Florida High K-12 Weather Club, Science Olympiad mentoring, and professional networking and skill-building within the meteorological community. Sponsorship of these and other future activities provides an effective way for your group to market to Tallahassee/Leon County as well as to make a difference within the community.
