2008 Weather Calendar

Calendar Orders

The North Florida AMS is excited to announce that its weather calendar will be available for purchase at the December 4th meeting.  These calendars will make great presents over the holidays.  We hope to be able to sell them outside of the chapter as well, so be sure to tell your friends and family.  Calendars will be $12. Let me know if you are interested in seeing a sample calendar page and overview.  We are now taking pre-orders, please send Charlie an email and let him know how many calendars you would like to purchase.  You can pay by cash or check when picking them up.  Please make checks payable to the North Florida AMS.  If you cannot make the meeting, calendars will be available for purchase through December 13th.

Picture Contests

For the first time the North Florida AMS held weather picture contests. Members were encouraged to take weather pictures and submit their best photos. It was preferred that pictures were taken within the past year. There were 4 contests with the top 3 finishers of each contest winning a spot in the 2008 North Florida AMS Weather Calendar.

Picture Contest Dates & Results:

Pictures were reviewed anonymously by the chapter officers and voted on for each contest.

**Those taking part in this competition are to take pictures at their own risk. The North Florida AMS takes no responsibility in any damages which may occur. Take pictures from a safe distance.
