The Atlanta Chapter meets once a month on Thursdays at 7PM. Meetings are typically held at the Environmental Science
& Technology building in Room L1205 at Georgia Tech.
We send out notification of our events via e-mail. If you would like to be included on the distribution list,
please contact Atlanta AMS/NWA Chapter.
FEBRUARY MEETING
Our next meeting will be held on Thursday, February 23rd at 7PM at The Weather Channel. President-elect Daniel Dix will be leading the tour and he will be discussing the recent technological enhancements made within the last year at TWC along with showcasing some of the on-air and behind-the-scenes work that takes place each day.
Important
If you plan on attending the meeting at The Weather Channel, you must RSVP to the chapter by Sunday, February 19, 2012. The Weather Channel requires an RSVP list in advance of the meeting for security reasons. If you do not RSVP before the deadline, you will not be able to attend.
