The AMS BPSM is composed of members from the private sector of the weather and climate enterprise committed to enhancing the awareness of and promoting the activities of private sector meteorologists. We work to raise awareness of professional development activities for those people employed in the private sector. Board members provide opportunities that encourage those interested in the private sector to consider engaging in the breadth, scope and variety of employment opportunities in the private sector that have significant impact on our Nation's economic well-being.
In this regard, the BPSM is soliciting photographs (preferably in .jpg or .tif formats; high resolution .gif images will probably be accepted as well) of private sectors members (e.g., for-profit and not-for-profit forecasters, broadcasters, CCMs) doing their job. In addition, since the BPSM has a growing mentor program as well, we would also be interested in pictures of private sector members showing their "mentoring in action"! Please do not send mug shots of an individual, or a picture or logo of someone or anything that simply is promoting any particular company. The BPSM will make all decisions and have the sole responsibility as to what photos are posted on our web site.
