The UCAR Office of Government Affairs
is a part of the
University Corporation for Atmospheric Research
in Boulder, Colorado.
OGA monitors the activities of the U.S. Congress and keeps the UCAR community
informed about budgetary, legislative, and policy developments involving the National
Science Foundation, and other agencies of importance to the atmospheric and related
sciences.
The Office of Government Affairs also coordinates a number of outreach activities,
including educational science briefings for Members of Congress and staff.
