Linda Miller, an AMS Member, is Community Services Manager and External Liaison for the Unidata Program at the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research in Boulder, Colorado. Her carreer, spanning more than 30 years, includes service in government, private industry, and research and education institutions:

At Unidata, Ms. Miller's community building and outreach activities include working with Unidata governance committees, fostering collaborative projects with NOAA and other government entities, and support of diverse university data needs for teaching and research. Ms. Miller has collaborated with users and institutions facilitating use of Unidata technologies for data access and distribution. A few of these projects include Level II WSR-88D, ACARS, Profiler, Cooperative Opportunity for NCEP Data Using IDD Technology, Canadian GEM, Fleet Numerical Meteorology and Oceanography COAMPS and NOGAPS models, and community use of Internet Data Distribution with NOAAPort. In addition to AMS, she is a member of the American Geophysical Union and the European Geosciences Union.
