Wes Hyduke, an AMS Member, is the Director of Meteorology Operations for Schneider Electric in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Prior to this assignment, Mr Hyduke was an on-site meteorologist with Schneider Electric for premier golfing events, providing early detection and advance warning of lightning and storms to protect the players, officials, and spectators from harm. Mr. Hyduke has a BS degree atmospheric science (2001) from Millersville University. Prior to his employment at Schneider Electric, Mr. Hyduke worked at Pacific Coast Forecasting in Los Angeles, California as an aviation meteorologist. He has been an active member of the American Meteorological Society since 2000 and currently serves on the Board of Continuing Professional Development. Mr. Hyduke also participates in his local Twin Cities AMS chapter.
