Maj James Glass is the United States Marine Corps Liaison and Marine Corps Meteorological and Oceanographic (METOC) Requirements Officer assigned to N2/N6E1 Oceanographer of the Navy at the Naval Observatory in Washington DC. During his 27 year Marine Corps career he has progressed through the enlisted ranks as a METOC Forecaster to Chief Warrant Officer and was selected as a Limited Duty Officer. His billets have included assignments as the Marine Corps Chemical Bioligical Incident Response Force METOC Chief, Combined Joint Task Force-Consequence Management METOC Officer, Coalition Forces Land Component Command-Kuwait METOC Officer and Marine Corps installations West Regional METOC Center Officer. He has deployed numerous times in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. He has a BS degree from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in aviation management and an MBA degree from the American Graduate University.
