The Greenhouse Gas Management Institute, the society of greenhouse gas professionals, has headquarters in Washington, D.C., and branch offices in San Francisco, Chicago, Ottawa, and Manila. GHGMI is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established in 2007 to address climate change by building and supporting a global community of experts with the highest standards of professional practice in measuring, accounting, auditing and managing greenhouse gas emissions; meeting the needs of governments, corporations, and organizations large and small.
