Jeff Freedman is a Senior Research Scientist at AWS Truepower in Albany, New York. He has academic and professional degrees in meteorology and oceanography, atmospheric science, and law. Prior to earning a Ph.D. degree at the Atmospheric Sciences Research Center in Albany, New York, Dr. Freedman was Assistant Counsel to the New York City Department of Environmental Protection. As a Senior Research Scientist with AWS Truepower since 2007, Dr. Freedman helps further advance the company's research and development efforts with emphasis on improving observational and modeling techniques for solar and wind energy resource assessment.
