Richard Brenne is an award-winning screenwriter living in Portland, Oregon. His works have been produced by the Discovery Channel, HBO, and Warner Brothers. He first wrote about climate change in 1988 and he made his first documentary film addressing this important subject in 1992. For the last several years has produced and moderated panel discussions and town meetings about climate change, peak oil and other resource depletion, species loss and the growth of all kinds that has created these problems. His events at universities included the University of Colorado and Portland State University, and his events for the national radio show eTown have sold out large auditoriums. Mr. Brenne is a member of the Committee on Climate Change - Improving Communications, which is within the Board on Enterprise Communication in the AMS Commission on the Weather and Climate Enterprise.
