Amy Carroll is a member of the Republican professional staff of the
House Science Committee.
She handles all issues related to
NOAA,
EPA, and
NIST.
Dr. Carroll had previously served as Staff Director for the Subcommittee on
Environment, Technology and Standards, after starting on the Committee as an
AAAS
Congressional Fellow in 2002. A native of Portsmouth, New Hampshire, Dr. Carroll
earned a
BS
degree in Biochemistry from University of Notre Dame, and a
PhD
in Microbiology from Cornell University.
