AMS Author Upload

Special information for LaTeX and TeX users

AMS has developed a LaTeX template for authors that will allow the upload system to convert the manuscript to PDF cleanly in a server-based production environment. To obtain a copy of the template, go to http://www.ametsoc.org/pubs/journals/manuscripttemplates.html. If you have problems downloading the template, contact Mike Friedman, the AMS Journals Production Manager, at mfriedman@ametsoc.org.

Once the converter is operational, in order for the converter to work properly, authors must use the AMS-supplied style file. If you have problems with the conversion, please contact latex@ametsoc.org and describe the problem. While we investigate, you may upload your own PDF file, as before. Make sure the PDF file includes captioned figures at the end of it. Check the “include this file…” box so that the PDF will be processed by the software.

We ask that in addition to the PDF file, authors upload the original LaTeX or TeX manuscript file and any associated files such as style files, bibliography files, etc., so that they can be converted to Word production files after acceptance. They can be zipped into a single file or uploaded individually. Do NOT check the “include this file…” box for these files.

We are collecting comments and suggestions for improving the template. Please send them to latex@ametsoc.org.
