Satellite Navigation & Space Weather Policy Study

The AMS Policy Program held a workshop October 13-14, 2010 in Washington DC to discuss satellite navigation's vulnerability to space weather and how to build resilience for the future. Recommendations were made on how to better understand the vulnerabilities, understand how science and and engineering can be used to build resiliency, and what policy opportunities are available for mitigating risk and improving the application of space weather information to GPS operations. The final report can be found below.
