The workshop report and an executive summary are now available

The AMS Policy Program (APP), in collaboration with the American Public Health Association (APHA), hosted this forum to identify the present issues and formulate the needed direction for improved policies and practices for cross-sector communication between (public/private) environmental information providers and (public/private) health care delivery institutions. Participants were decision-makers and individuals who work at the interface of environmental information and the health care delivery sectors. The forum report will be distributed to all invitees and other relevant individuals. Working groups have been established to advance cross-sector communication and to maintain momentum in the solution-building process. Support for this invitation-only forum is made possible by NOAA National Weather Service, NASA, EPA, and APP underwriters: ITT, Lockheed Martin, and Raytheon.
