Applicants must be entering their final year of undergraduate study in the fall of 2013 and provide evidence of acceptance as a full-time student at an accredited U.S. institution at the time of the award.

It is the applicant’s responsibility to ensure that all materials are received at AMS by the closing date. Applicants are encouraged to check with AMS in early January if they would like to know the status of their application materials. 

AMS encourages applications from women, minorities, and disabled students who are traditionally underrepresented in the atmospheric and related oceanic sciences.

Candidates must be U.S. citizens or hold permanent resident status and must be pursuing a degree at a U.S. institution.
