AMS DC Chapter Scholarships


Eligibility Requirements are as such:

A. A high school senior with an outstanding academic record in a high school
located in Washington DC, Maryland, or Virginia.
B. Completed at least three years of study in science and at least three years of study in mathematics during high school.
C. Be accepted by or have applied to an accredited college or university for entrance as a freshman in the Summer 2008 or Fall 2008 term.
D. Complete and submit this scholarship application, to include an official high school
transcript(s), and the names and contact information of two individuals who recommend him/her for this scholarship. (We suggest that one be a secondary science or athematics teacher, and the other be any professional who is familiar with the student's abilities and
accomplishments.)
