  • Science Fair Project Ideas – The Science Buddies Web site has free science fair project ideas, answers, and tools for students. http://www.sciencebuddies.org

  • Kids' Crossing The University Corporation for Atmospheric Research (UCAR) has a Web site that includes games, activities, and fun facts about weather suitable for grades K-5. http://www.eo.ucar.edu/kids/index.html.

  • NOAA Education – The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s (NOAA) Web site for students has been separated into three categories: Kids (grades K-5); Students (grades 6-12); and Higher Education Opportunities. http://www.education.noaa.gov/index.html

  • Collegiate Inventors Competition (CIC) - CIC is one of the foremost programs in the US that recognizes and rewards invention, innovation, and discovery by college and university students. The Competition promotes exploration in invention, science, engineering, technology, and other creative endeavors and provides a window on the future technologies from which society will benefit in the future.
