Certified Consulting Meteorologist

The CCM program is a service for the general public by the AMS. The Society has established high standards of technical competence, character, and experience for certified consultants who provide advice in meteorology to the public. The CCM program was established to ensure that certain individuals have been tested and found to meet or exceed those standards.

CCM Profiles

Since January 2008, a CCM has been featured periodically in BAMS. A link to the profiles published to date is referenced below. We are still trying to keep this feature going and we need more CCMs to submit profiles for publication. If you would like to contribute, please email your profile along with a jpeg or tif file of a photo to Kelly Savoie (ksavoie@ametsoc.org).
